N.T.E. presents Dreams’ Mirror

After over three years of study and research, our most exclusive product has arrived, the Dreams' Mirror!

The Research

We wanted to create a piece of furniture of common use, such as a mirror, and at the same time an effect lamp.

Dreams' Mirror study started from a preliminary research on LEDs’ lighting spots, with the purpose of making them less visible and disturbing as possible.

These years of research have resulted in our patented Prismatic System, thanks to which we discovered:

•        what were the parameters in order to obtain the best effects with no dazzling

•        how to obtain the least possible loss of brightness in the reflection and refraction of light

•        the type of material (glass, resins) and the types of LEDs to be used

•        the type of electronics needed to manage the desired effects

Thanks to over 30 years of experience in working with LED light of some members of our Staff it was possible to make use and expand the range of colours and effects, using different LEDs, with different output frequencies and further expand them thanks to the prism, obtaining even the “half tones” of colours which characterize our Another Light Illuminators.

Music and light

The combination of music and light has always been fascinating us and we watched with interest the first scenic effects where music followed the light in an analogical way (events, clubs and discos), but we wanted to go further: take digital music and convert it into lighting effects.

In Dreams’ Mirror colours change accordingly to the musical frequency and brightness depends on the power: in this way our system detects the frequencies and transforms them into infinite combinations of colour effects and lighting power.

 The Mirror

During our researches, we noticed that the prismatic system gives a lot of depth and one of the systems that allows us to further increase the depth effect is the "infinite mirror": a mirror that reflects itself in another mirror.

We were inspired by this to position our mould, which is placed between two mirrors that reflect infinitely.

Our Dreams’ Mirror is a unidirectional mirror: the light comes out on one side, but a small portion is reflected, increasing the depth effect already given by our Patented Prismatic System.
